Little Joys is a children’s boutique + photography studio in the heart of Penticton, BC.
We’re creating a space that celebrates childhood — thoughtfully curating Canadian kids and family brands alongside a beautiful photography studio created for connection, creativity and capturing the seasons that pass far too quickly.
Our hope is that Little Joys becomes more than a place to shop or have your photos taken. We want it to be a warm, welcoming part of our community — a place for families, beautiful things and all the little joys in between.

MEET DEANNA + ALISON
Our story actually began in a creative writing class.
Deanna and Alison met through a shared love of storytelling and creativity. Alison was writing children’s stories, Deanna was working in photography and design, and before long the two were taking art and writing classes together and dreaming up creative ideas.
Little Joys feels like a natural extension of that friendship.
Deanna brings her experience in photography, design and visual storytelling, while Alison brings both creativity and a strong business mind. A professional accountant and owner of Barefoot Business Solutions, Alison manages the financial side of Little Joys and also operates her accounting business from the shop.
